1. Who We Are
Trendium B.V ("Trendium") is a company registered in the Netherlands (KVK 99704080), based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website.

2. What Data We Collect
We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it through our contact form or newsletter subscription:
- Name, work email address, company name, and job role (via contact form)
- Message content you provide in the contact form
- Email address (via newsletter subscription)
We also collect anonymized usage data through cookies (see Section 5).
3. Why We Collect Data
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Contact requests: To respond to your inquiries, schedule demos, and provide information about our products and services.
- Newsletter: To send you updates on AI security, enablement, and Trendium news (only with your consent).
- Website analytics: To understand how visitors use our website and improve our content (anonymized, with consent).
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months after your last interaction with us, then deleted. Newsletter subscriptions remain active until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained in anonymized form for 26 months.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use Cookiebot for cookie consent management and Google Tag Manager for analytics. Cookies are only placed after you give consent through our cookie banner.
- Necessary cookies: Required for the cookie consent banner to function. No consent needed.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics (via GTM) to understand website usage. Placed only with your consent.
- Marketing cookies: Currently none. If added in the future, they will require explicit consent.
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time from the Cookie Declaration on our Cookie Policy page.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service that does not store or access any information on your device. Because Vercel Analytics falls outside the scope of the ePrivacy Directive, it operates without a consent banner on the legal basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for understanding aggregate website usage.

Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (Standard Contractual Clauses).
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
8. Your Rights Under GDPR
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data.
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
